Another great issue! SpaceX is the canary in the coal mine here. If the US federal agencies will entertain every frivolous lawsuit that comes in the door, we are doomed.

Great roundup, as usual. I thought the most interesting take away from that Faster, Please post was the study on degrowth though. A vast majority of studies were backed by opinion rather than data 😳. Classic! But the videos of the violin solo on Polaris Dawn really got me in the feels. I don't know that a race of super intelligent machines would have done that.

It's probably shocking just how many studies are influenced by opinion to the point of being completely wrong. Scientists are just humans at the end of the day, which is why freedom of inquiry is so important...because eventually science self corrects. Usually.
